Media-Literacy (1995-2001) |

"Exemplary Action for Europe"
From 1995 on Roman A. Tolic dealt
increasingly with media-literacy. He developed, in cooperation with
the Austrian UNICEF Committee, Ministry of Education, Viennese Integration
Foundation and Austrian Culture Service, the media and educational
project "ORF Goes to School". For the International Youth Educational
Centre in Vienna - "Interface"- he made the concept of a TV media-education
program. Along with a team of engaged teachers (Gerry Goellner,
Werner Obergruber and Helga Hauser) Roman A. Tolic created several
intercultural and media-pedagogical CLIP-projects.
Roman A. Tolic's media-pedagogical and intercultural projects were
recognized nationally and internationally. They were awarded: by
UNICEF, the MPs of the EU, the Vienna School City Council, the German
Adolf Grimme Institute and finally by the European Council Commission
against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI): gaining the predicate "Exemplary
Action for Europe"
