European Year against Racism
The Clip Team selected in 1997 the slogan
of the European Year against Racism as the subject of projects for
33 pedagogues of 26 Viennese schools. First of all teachers learned
and then they produced with their students clips related to the
topic. Media assistants supported schools at production. The CLIP
Festival of 12/9/1997 is the culmination and conclusion of the project.

Evaluation of the Institute for Puberty Psychology
"The Antiracism Project CLIP '97 represents an interesting
and didactically successful access mode to reduction of racist prejudices.
The pilot study available until now could show that expected effects
could have been achieved through the project."

Human Rights
20 school classes from Vienna, Prague and Budapest took part in
the project "CLIP '98 - HUMAN RIGHTS" and they distributed
among themselves topics from the subject area "Children Rights
- Human Rights". Participating classes selected one particular
article each and created a clip thereon, clip being always introduced
by a famous person. Once again seminars for teachers and students
took place and media professionals supported the creation of short
films. This time the première of video clips, as well as
rendering of CLIP '98 awards, took place in the scope of CLIP Gala
on December 11, 1998 in Austria Center. Stars like famous Austrian
singer and musician Georg Danzer, film directors such as Reinhard
Schwabenitzky and Georg Riha, and the up-and-coming talents from
participating schools formed the frame program of the CLIP Gala.
